InnocentComfort Quilts

The Comfort Quilt Committee coordinates the making and delivery of quilts to various organizations within Windsor. The committee members prepare kits of fabrics to cut, tops to sew and tops to be quilted – members of the guild take these kits home and perform the required task. In addition, many guild members donate fabric, quilt tops and finished quilts to the Comfort Quilts.

In the past year, we have delivered 216 quilts to Windsor Rehab Centre, Maryvale, Hiatus House, Windsor Regional Children’s Centre, Teen Health Centre, John McGivney Children’s Centre, Salvation Army,
Paramedics, and Family Respite Services.

They each sent us their warmest and sincerest thanks. In addition to our quilts, we delivered 238 baby hats to the Neonatal Unit and 52 pillowcases to the Hiatus House.
